In my capstone project, I want to hopefully accomplish a new way to limit the amount of greenhouse gasses in the air (boring.....I know). Although this is a topic that is talked about waaay to much, I want to try and fix this problem. I believe it that this topic is an important issue because whether you believe in the whole global warming or not, everyone can agree that pollution is bad. Although my methods will not destroy all pollution, I hope to be a stepping stone for future generations.
When I attend my university, I want to pursue a degree in chemical engineering. Chemical engineers do everything, from helping the environment to bettering drugs for patients. That is how my capstone project is related to my major. I want to look at the "chemical" side of pollution and perhaps one day limiting it. Overall, if this project is realistic and can actually be made, I believe it could be a key turning point in our society. Not only would it help limit pollution, but as I said before, it could be used as a stepping stone for future generations to build upon. Also, just a quick fact, the Richland triple bottom line talks about the social, economic, and environmental aspects of the Richland society (just in case you wanted to know).
